About
Yarn bombing is a form of street art using yarn creations to cover public spaces.
Yarn Bomb Stapleford is all about enabling our wonderful community of Stapleford to have ownership in brightening up Stapleford Town Centre with different creative displays throughout the next few months.
After months of limited socialising, the project aims to bring people back together working on the installations and create a warm welcome to those visiting our high street. The projects also provide the opportunity for people to develop skills and express their creative side.
Yarn Bomb Stapleford has received funding from Broxtowe Borough Council’s welcome back fund to cover costs associated with materials and marketing and managing events and group activities.
The project was developed and is organised by the Helpful Bureau and Stapleford Mutual Aid Group.
